Trek in the Everest region of Nepal along the Khumbu trail. Tread in the
footsteps of Hillary and Tenzing as you make your way amongst
awesome mountain scenery to EBC.

This trip not only takes in the sights and sounds of Kathmandu but also the historic trading post of Namche Bazaar and the world famous monastery at Tengboche.

Trek to the summit of Kala Pattar at 5,545m for sunset views of Everest.
Trek to Everest Base Camp

Accompany a group of potential Everest Summiteers to Base Camp
and be a part of the exciting pre-expedition build up.

This 17 day itinerary is perfect for your Easter holidays
Dates tbc

Day 1 - Depart UK.
Day 2 - Arrive Kathmandu (KTM).
Day 3 - Fly to Lukla (2800m). An easy walk leads down to Phak Ding (2650m) where you will stay for your first night in a Nepalese Teahouse.
Day 4 - Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m).
Day 5 - Trek to the ‘Everest View Hotel’ where you will see the fantastic panorama which includes Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest. Descend and sleep at Kyanjuma (3,600m).
Day 6 - Trek to Pangboche (3985m) visiting Tengboche monastery en route.
Day 7 - Trek to Dingboche (4350m).
Day 8 - Rest day. Trek in the local area and acclimatise. 2nd night at Dingboche.
Day 9 - Trek to Lobuche (4,910m).
Day 10 - Trek to Gorak Shep (5,100m) and ascend Kala Pattar for views of Everest at sunset.
Day 11 - Trek to Everest Base Camp and return to Gorak Shep.
Day 12 - Trek to Pangboche
Day 13 - Trek to Namche Bazaar and continue down to Monjo.
Day 14 - Trek to Lukla.
Day 15 - Fly to KTM early morning. Free time / sightseeing in the afternoon.
Day 16 - Last minute shopping. Depart KTM early evening.
Day 17 - Arrive LHR early morning.

For Island Peak add the following days to the itinerary

Day 12b - Trek to Chukkung
Day 13b - Trek to Island Peak Base Camp
Day 14b - Move to Island Peak High Camp
Day 15b - Island Peak Summit day
Day 16b - Spare day
Day 17b - Trek to Pangboche
Day 18b - Trek to Namche Bazaar and continue down to Monjo.
Day 19b - Trek to Lukla.
Day 20b - Fly to KTM early morning. Free time / sightseeing in the afternoon.
Day 21b - Last minute shopping. Depart KTM early evening.
Day 22b - Arrive LHR early morning.
