In 2009 7 clients and 1 Climbing Sherpa reached the summit
(one of whom then flew off and made it back down to Base Camp in under 10 minutes
which was only the second flight, and first British one, from the summit!) & in
2010 we put 9 members and 4 Climbing Sherpas on the summit of Ama Dablam.

Latest update - 12 climbers and 5 Climbing Sherpas summited Ama Dablam in 2011.

This climbing itinerary is based on a 4 week Saturday to Sunday period

28 Oct 2012- Arrive Kathmandu (KTM).
29 Oct 2012- Sightseeing in KTM. Sort gear / final preparations for the expedition.
30 Oct 2012 - Fly to Lukla (2800m) and start trekking.
31 Oct - 22 Nov 2011 - Trek to Ama Dablam Base Camp. Rest. Train. Climb. Party.
23 Nov 2011 - Fly to KTM. Sort gear. Sightseeing. Party again.
24 Nov 2011 - Sightseeing and last minute shopping in the morning. Depart KTM.

What is it going to cost?

This is a fully inclusive KTM - Base Camp - Mountain - KTM trip for only £3,885. There is an early booking discount that reduces the price to £3,495 for any deposits paid before the middle of January 2012.

The cost includes all meals and accommodation in KTM, Lukla flights, all meals and accommodation for the trek in to Base Camp, a personal tent at Base Camp, all food at Base Camp and on the mountain, Climbing Sherpas, Medical supplies, all necessary permits and paperwork, airport transfers in KTM, agency fees, etc etc. See the list of inclusions for more details.

If you want to make your own way in to the Khumbu and meet at Ama Dablam Base Camp, or if you want to just join the permit and are arranging all your own logistics, then please contact me so that I can give you a competitive quote.
